Copyright Policy

Copyright, permissions, small-group sharing and intellectual-property standards for Jesus Bible Foundation LLC.

This Copyright Policy explains the ownership, permitted use, licensing, small-group sharing, attribution, permissions and copyright-infringement procedures that apply to material published by Jesus Bible Foundation LLC through https://jesusbiblefoundation.com/ , related websites, books, devotionals, Bible-study resources, digital publications, social-media platforms and other publishing channels.

1. Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, original books, devotionals, articles, prayers, Bible-study material, explanations, compilations, graphics, page designs, study resources, digital publications and other original material created or published by Jesus Bible Foundation are owned by or licensed to Jesus Bible Foundation LLC.

Copyright © 2026 Jesus Bible Foundation LLC. All rights reserved.

Making material publicly available on a website, social-media account, storefront or digital platform does not transfer ownership or grant an unrestricted right to reproduce, republish, distribute, translate, modify, sell or commercially exploit that material.

2. Bible Translations

Jesus Bible Foundation books, devotionals, articles and study resources may quote Scripture from various Bible translations.

The wording, formatting, study notes, trademarks and editorial material of many modern Bible translations may be protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property rights.

Bible translation quotations remain subject to the copyright notices, quotation limits, attribution requirements and permissions policies established by their respective publishers or rights holders.

Permission granted by Jesus Bible Foundation LLC to reproduce one of our books, devotionals, articles or study resources does not automatically grant permission to reproduce third-party Bible translation text beyond the rights allowed by the translation owner.

3. Third-Party Material

Our publications and websites may contain or reference third-party material, including:

  • Bible translations;
  • Photographs;
  • Illustrations;
  • Videos;
  • Audio;
  • Maps;
  • Book covers;
  • Quotations;
  • Screenshots;
  • Logos;
  • Music;
  • Social-media embeds;
  • External resources.

Such material remains subject to the rights, licences and terms of its respective owner, publisher or creator.

Jesus Bible Foundation LLC cannot grant permission for third-party material that it does not own or control.

4. Sharing Links

You are welcome to share direct links to publicly available Jesus Bible Foundation pages through:

  • Social media;
  • Email;
  • Messaging applications;
  • Church websites;
  • Ministry websites;
  • Educational websites;
  • Other lawful platforms.

Sharing a direct link is generally the preferred way to share a complete online article because it preserves the original context, attribution, updates and copyright notices.

5. Brief Quotations

You may quote a limited portion of our original written content for genuine commentary, review, teaching, discussion, research or reference where permitted by applicable law, provided that:

  • The quotation is accurate;
  • The quotation is not presented in a misleading context;
  • Jesus Bible Foundation is clearly identified as the source;
  • A direct link to the original page is included where reasonably possible;
  • The quotation does not reproduce the substantial value of the complete work;
  • The use does not falsely imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement;
  • Any Bible translation quotation also complies with the relevant translation owner's requirements.

6. Small-Group, Church and Bible-Study Sharing Licence

Jesus Bible Foundation LLC permits limited small-group use without a separate written permission request for groups of no more than 30 people total, including the leader, teacher or facilitator, subject to the conditions below.

This small-group allowance is a voluntary permission granted by Jesus Bible Foundation LLC for material that it owns or has authority to license.

The 30-person threshold and the reproduction limits stated below are licensing permissions established by Jesus Bible Foundation LLC. They are not intended to define fair use, fair dealing or any other statutory copyright exception.

6.1 Group Size

A local church Bible study, prayer group, home fellowship, discipleship group, Sunday school class, Christian classroom, ministry group or similar non-commercial gathering may use qualifying Jesus Bible Foundation material without requesting separate written permission where the group contains:

No more than 30 people in total, including the leader, teacher or facilitator.

For a group of 31 or more people, written permission should normally be obtained before photocopying, printing, emailing, digitally distributing or otherwise supplying copies of material from a Jesus Bible Foundation book, devotional or study resource.

6.2 Sharing from Books

For a qualifying group of 30 people or fewer, a leader may reproduce, print, email, display or distribute a limited extract from a Jesus Bible Foundation book, provided that the total material shared from that book does not exceed:

Up to 2 complete chapters or 15% of the book, whichever is less.

This permission applies only to genuine non-commercial activities such as:

  • Bible-study meetings;
  • Prayer groups;
  • Home fellowships;
  • Discipleship groups;
  • Local church classes;
  • Sunday school;
  • Christian classrooms;
  • Non-commercial ministry training.

The permitted extract may be provided as a printed handout, PDF extract, email attachment or temporary digital display for the qualifying group, provided that distribution remains limited to the participants and complies with the conditions of this policy.

6.3 Sharing from Devotionals

For a qualifying group of 30 people or fewer, limited complete devotional entries may be reproduced or distributed according to the following limits:

  • For a devotional containing 7 entries or fewer, up to 2 complete devotional entries may be shared.
  • For a devotional containing 8–29 entries, up to 3 complete devotional entries may be shared.
  • For a devotional containing 30 or more entries, up to 5 complete devotional entries may be shared.

These entries may be printed, displayed on a screen, emailed or distributed as handouts to members of the qualifying small group.

A complete devotional book, monthly devotional, annual devotional or devotional series may not be reproduced and distributed under this small-group licence.

6.4 Repeated or Cumulative Copying

The limits in this policy apply not only to a single meeting but also to the overall use of a particular publication by the group.

A group may not avoid the limits by copying different chapters or devotional entries at successive meetings in a manner that eventually reproduces all or a substantial portion of the publication.

Example: a group may not copy two chapters this week, two additional chapters the following week, and continue doing so until most or all of the book has effectively been distributed.

Where a group wishes to study a substantial portion of, or an entire, Jesus Bible Foundation publication, participants should obtain individual lawful copies or the group should request written permission.

6.5 Reading Aloud

A leader, teacher or participant may read reasonable portions of a Jesus Bible Foundation book or devotional aloud during a qualifying non-commercial group meeting.

Reasonable reading aloud during a meeting does not grant permission to create or distribute an audiobook, podcast, video recording or other substitute for the original publication.

6.6 Displaying Material During Meetings

Permitted extracts may be displayed on a projector, television, computer screen or shared presentation during a qualifying meeting of 30 people or fewer.

The displayed material should remain limited to the permitted extract and should not subsequently be uploaded or distributed publicly unless separate permission has been granted.

6.7 Online and Video Meetings

The same small-group permission may apply to a private online Bible study, prayer meeting, discipleship meeting or similar gathering of 30 or fewer participants, provided that access is restricted to the participating group.

Permitted material may be displayed during a private online meeting or distributed privately to participants within the limits stated in this policy.

This permission does not allow protected material to be posted publicly on YouTube, Facebook, another social-media platform, a public website, an unrestricted shared drive or another publicly accessible platform.

6.8 Attribution Required

Where reasonably practical, material reproduced under this small-group licence should include:

  • The title of the book, devotional or study resource;
  • The author or Jesus Bible Foundation attribution;
  • © Jesus Bible Foundation LLC;
  • A link to JesusBibleFoundation.com or the relevant publication page.

Existing copyright notices, credits and attribution should not be removed.

6.9 No Charge for Copies

Material reproduced under this small-group licence may not be sold.

A church, ministry or group may recover reasonable direct photocopying or printing costs where necessary, provided that no profit is made from the reproduction of Jesus Bible Foundation material.

6.10 Full-Book or Full-Devotional Studies

If a group intends to work systematically through an entire Jesus Bible Foundation book, study guide or devotional, participants should obtain their own lawful copies where those copies are commercially or freely available.

The small-group licence is intended to facilitate teaching, introduce groups to publications and permit reasonable ministry use. It is not intended to allow one purchased copy to replace legitimate copies for an entire group.

6.11 Free Publications

Where Jesus Bible Foundation LLC expressly identifies a particular book, devotional, PDF, study guide or resource as freely reproducible or provides a separate sharing licence with broader permissions, the terms accompanying that particular resource will apply.

A publication being available free of charge does not automatically mean that all copyright restrictions have been waived unless Jesus Bible Foundation LLC expressly states otherwise.

7. When Written Permission Is Required

Written permission from Jesus Bible Foundation LLC should normally be requested before:

  • Distributing copied material to a group of 31 or more people;
  • Reproducing more than 2 chapters or 15% of a book, whichever is less;
  • Sharing more devotional entries than permitted under Section 6.3;
  • Reproducing an entire book, devotional, Bible-study guide or other publication;
  • Using repeated extracts that collectively reproduce a substantial portion of a publication;
  • Distributing substantial extracts to several separate groups where the overall distribution would materially exceed the intended scope of the small-group licence;
  • Posting copies on a publicly accessible website;
  • Uploading protected material to a public or unrestricted shared drive;
  • Posting substantial protected material in a public social-media group;
  • Recording, broadcasting or livestreaming substantial portions of a book or devotional;
  • Using substantial material at a conference, seminar, workshop or event attended by more than 30 people;
  • Using the material as part of a paid course, paid membership programme or commercial event;
  • Including substantial material in another book, curriculum, application, website or publication;
  • Translating and distributing substantial portions of a Jesus Bible Foundation publication;
  • Creating audio, video or digital editions that could function as substitutes for the original publication.

8. Larger Churches, Ministries, Schools and Organisations

Churches, ministries, schools, universities, Bible colleges, conferences and other organisations wishing to distribute material to 31 or more people should contact Jesus Bible Foundation LLC for written permission or an appropriate group-use licence.

Permission may be granted according to:

  • The particular publication;
  • The number of participants;
  • The amount of material required;
  • The purpose of the programme;
  • The duration of the study;
  • Whether the use is commercial or non-commercial;
  • The method of distribution.

At its discretion, Jesus Bible Foundation LLC may provide:

  • Free ministry permission;
  • An extended church or classroom licence;
  • Bulk purchasing arrangements;
  • Discounted group copies;
  • Digital group access;
  • Another suitable form of written permission.

9. Personal Use

An individual lawful owner of a Jesus Bible Foundation publication may use that copy for personal reading, private Bible study, personal devotion and other lawful personal purposes.

Personal ownership does not automatically grant the right to reproduce or distribute the complete publication to other people.

10. Church, Classroom and Ministry Use Outside the Small-Group Licence

Churches, schools, ministries and other organisations may use reasonable limited extracts consistent with this policy, but larger-scale or repeated distribution may require written permission.

Where a proposed use does not clearly fall within the small-group licence, you are encouraged to contact Jesus Bible Foundation LLC before reproducing or distributing the material.

11. Translations of Jesus Bible Foundation Content

Translating a Jesus Bible Foundation article, devotional, book or study resource creates a derivative version of the original work.

Unless otherwise permitted by applicable law or expressly authorised, written permission should be obtained before translating and publicly distributing substantial Jesus Bible Foundation content.

12. Images, Graphics and Social-Media Material

Original Bible verse graphics, illustrations, photographs, social-media images, book graphics and other visual material created by or for Jesus Bible Foundation LLC may be protected by copyright.

Official social-media posts may generally be shared through the normal sharing functions provided by the relevant platform.

Downloading, removing branding, modifying, selling, repackaging or republishing protected images outside normal sharing functions may require written permission.

13. Audio, Video and Spoken Content

Original audio, video, spoken-word recordings, narrated devotionals, sermons, teaching material and other recorded content created by or for Jesus Bible Foundation LLC may be protected by copyright.

You may share official links to such material.

Re-uploading, redistributing, editing, commercially exploiting or creating substantial derivative recordings may require permission.

14. Trademarks and Branding

Names, logos, symbols, designs and other branding associated with Jesus Bible Foundation may be protected by trademark, unfair-competition and other applicable laws.

You may not use Jesus Bible Foundation branding in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation, approval, partnership or ownership.

15. Automated Collection and Artificial Intelligence Systems

Public access to content does not automatically grant permission to systematically copy, archive, reproduce, ingest or commercially redistribute substantial portions of Jesus Bible Foundation LLC copyrighted works using automated systems, bots, scraping tools or artificial-intelligence systems.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict rights expressly granted by applicable law.

Submitting a permission request does not itself grant permission. Permission exists only when Jesus Bible Foundation LLC provides written approval.

Jesus Bible Foundation LLC respects the intellectual-property rights of others.

If you believe material appearing on a Jesus Bible Foundation website infringes a copyright that you own or are authorised to represent, please email:

  • Modify material;
  • Remove material;

Copyright complaints may therefore also be subject to United States copyright law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act where applicable.

Publication of copyright contact information on this page does not state that Jesus Bible Foundation LLC has registered a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office unless such registration has actually been completed and remains current.

Rights are granted only:

  • As expressly stated in this Copyright Policy;
  • Through written permission from Jesus Bible Foundation LLC;
  • Through another applicable licence;
  • Where applicable law independently permits the use.

22. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Jesus Bible Foundation LLC and, where applicable, by third-party rights holders.

Failure to immediately enforce a copyright, trademark or other right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

23. Changes to This Copyright Policy
